Andrea had a large heart and a big smile, and anyone that knew her could tell you that although her life ended too soon, she lived every moment of her life to the fullest potential. Andrea lived a very healthy and active lifestyle up until her illness, having completed a number of marathons and local road races which is why we’ve chosen to honor her life with this run/walk in her local community.

This 3-hour clinic will entail the "undiscovered" Ironman secrets that only an 18 ironman finisher can share in an educational platform. Over the course of these 3 hours, you'll have the opportunity to meet and greet other Ironman in training athletes and other athletes that have Ironman (half or full distance) on the brain that may be thinking about taking the plunge in the future. You'll hear an assortment of Ironman experiences, learn the pros/cons of different Ironman events and gets some hands on experience with "must knows" in completing your first Ironman.

Details: The Inaugural DY Wildcat 5K Trail Run is a beautiful loop through Boxford's Wildcat trail system off of Stiles Pond Road. There will be two course distances offered simultaneously. The 5k course will start and finish at the Stiles Pond Danvers Y Camp in Boxford and will cut down Stiles Pond Road entering into and looping around Wildcat Trail, while a 2 loop "Wild-Kitten" 1/2 mile course climbs up and around the Danvers Y Camp to finish at the waterfront of the camp.
